Record high prices for Auckland rental properties

Record high prices for Auckland rental properties

    23 April 2025
Trade Me data shows the median rent for a two-bedroom property is almost 600-dollars a week.

On the flip side, homes with five or more bedrooms have declined more than nine percent.

Trade Me Property's Customer Director, Gavin Lloyd, says renters have more choice as demand's dropped.

He says the combination of those two factors is affecting what landlords can ask for.
