Buller to Fiordland
Cloud increasing. Occasional light showers or drizzle about Fiordland spreading elsewhere overnight, then becoming heavier and more persistent about Fiordland and the ranges of Westland for a time tomorrow.
Nelson, Marlborough, and Canterbury
Mainly fine. High cloud from tomorrow afternoon, and a few showers about inland Marlborough in the afternoon and evening.
Otago and Southland
Partly cloudy, with isolated showers during the afternoons and evenings.
Chatham Islands
Periods of rain, with southwesterlies rising to gale tonight. Winds easing and rain clearing tomorrow morning, then fine spells.
