    NZ Severe Weather Warnings



    Heavy Rain Warning - Orange for Hawkes Bay issued at 7:18pm Wednesday, 26th June 2024
    Area: Hawke's Bay north of SH5
    Valid: 7:00am Wednesday to 11:00am Wednesday
    Expect 20 to 30 mm of rain inland, and less than 20 mm about the coast. These amounts are in addition to the rain that has already fallen. Peak rates of 5 to 10 mm/h, mainly inland.
    Note, further periods of rain or showers are forecast through until Friday, but amounts are expected to be well below warning criteria.
    Minimal chance of upgrading to a Red Warning.
