Chatham Islands
Occasional rain, mainly this morning. Southeast gales this morning.

North Island: Scattered showers in the east and north, also Wellington. Mainly fine elsewhere. South Island: Scattered showers in the east. Mainly fine elsewhere.

Wednesday
North Island: Cloudy with scattered showers in Gisborne and Hawke's Bay. Partly cloudy elsewhere with isolated afternoon showers. South Island: Mainly fine. Isolated showers in Nelson and Marlborough. Showers developing in coastal Fiordland and Southland from afternoon.

Chatham Islands
A few showers on Monday and Tuesday, mainly fine on Wednesday. Southerlies, dying out on Tuesday.
