    Businesses are in for a major hike to power bills - as households also face price rises

    21 November 2024
    The Commerce Commission is approving Transpower and local lines companies to increase revenue limits.

    The commission says significant investment's required to maintain and upgrade the network.

    Major Electricity Users' Group Chair John Harbord says large businesses will face a higher increase as more of their bills come from transmission.

    He says many large employers are already struggling.
