The Government's switching grants for electric vehicle charging stations, with an interest-free loan scheme

The Government's switching grants for electric vehicle charging stations, with an interest-free loan scheme

    27 April 2025
It's set aside 68.5-million dollars, which the private sector can apply for, to cover up to half of their project costs.

The Government's committing to have 10-thousand public chargers by 2030.

Transport Minister Chris Bishop, says concessionary loans are more suitable for the current market.

He wants to see how the next couple years will play out, before committing to further investment.
