    A warning for Bay of Plenty motorists to take special care on State Highways 1 and 5 between Turangi and Tokoroa/Rotorua


    Police say the roads are extremely slippery following heavy hail in the area.

    They're asking motorists to drive to the conditions, and reduce speed and increase following distances.
