Officers carried out a search warrant in Martinborough - where they found the sawn-off shotgun, ammunition, twelve-thousand in cash, and the drugs - which have a street value of around four-hundred-thousand dollars.
A 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman appeared in the Masterton District Court this afternoon - facing charges of possession of methamphetamine for supply and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Detective Sergeant Shaun Richardson says a seizure of this size will prevent considerable social harm.
He says the amount of meth seized was potentially destined for hundreds - if not thousands - of people.
