    A prominent Kiwi sportsman guilty of stealing thousands off his grandfather ... has now also pleaded guilty to defrauding a friend


    The man appeared in the Masterton District Court today to be sentenced for stealing more than 40-thousand dollars from his grandfather through computer crime.

    But he's now admitted deceiving a friend into giving him 60-thousand-dollars for a defamation case against a media outlet.

    The man now faces a charge of computer crime, obtaining by deception and driving while disqualified.

    He will reappear for sentencing on all three in March.
