The jury at the High Court in Christchurch.has heard from two psychiatric experts.
One supports Dickason's defence of insanity and infanticide, the other supports the Crown's case of murder.
Doctor Simone McLeavey assessed Dickason six days after she arrived at Hillmorton Hospital's forensic psychiatric unit.
She's told the court they didn't discuss the girls' deaths in that first meeting.
She says it was a taboo topic, considered too traumatic to re-visit at that time.
