The 42-year-old has been found guilty of murdering her six-year-old and twin two-year-old daughters at their Timaru home in 2021.
Dickason pleaded insanity, caused by postpartum depression.
Dickason's parents say this was not their daughter - but a debilitating mental illness which resulted in an awful tragedy.
Clinical psychologist Dougal Sutherland says there will be parents watching this case unfold - who've had postpartum depression.
He says this will be distressing for them, and it's important anyone experiencing strong emotions seeks support.
The judge has sought a raft of reports before sentencing, and Dickason has been remanded at Hillmorton Hospital.
