    Parts of two major central North Island roads are closed - after separate crashes,


    State Highway Five, between Napier and Taupo, is shut after a collision near Pohokura, reported this morning.

    Police say State Highway One is also closed, at Waitahanui, south of Taupo, after two vehicles collided about 12.30.

    Police say people are injured, and Waka Kotahi expects State Highway One to be closed for hours.
