Fighting talk from Kaitaia boxer Mea Motu, ahead of the first defence of her IBO world title tomorrow night in Auckland

Fighting talk from Kaitaia boxer Mea Motu, ahead of the first defence of her IBO world title tomorrow night in Auckland

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The 33-year-old super bantamweight champ says her opponent, Malawi's Ellen Simwaka, is disrespecting her - and she's going to destroy her.

Warriors talisman Shaun Johnson will play his 250th NRL game tonight, at home to the Dragons.

Win and the New Zealand side are guaranteed a top-four finish - and at least one home game in the playoffs.

But Johnson says the way they're going, it doesn't feel like they'd be satisfied with just that.

Football Ferns forward Indiah-Paige Riley has signed with big Dutch club PSV Eindhoven until mid-2025.

The 21-year-old appeared in all three of New Zealand's group games at the Fifa World Cup.
