    Both of the two roads closed after fatal crashes earlier today has reopened


    Bay of Plenty's State Highway 32 between SH30 Whakamaru and Old Taupo Rd has reopened in the past hour.

    The Coromandel Peninsular's State Highway 25 between Hikuai and Whangamata has also reopened in the past few minutes.

    The the first fatality happened last night when a driver allegedly fled from a police checkpoint.
