Pakistan is 220 for six in the final session of day one against Australia in the third test in Sydney

Pakistan is 220 for six in the final session of day one against Australia in the third test in Sydney

Two Pakistani greats Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis slammed the decision to rest pace weapon and spiritual leader Shaheen Afridi from the final test.

With victory in the three-match series now out of reach, Pakistan omitted Afridi, hoping to keep him fresh for their upcoming Twenty20 series with the Black Caps.

The Otago men's side has set Canterbury 172 to win their Super Smash Twenty20 in Alexandra.

The Canterbury Magicians won the women's match by 69 runs earlier in the day.
