Police say a car fire in Palmerston North, could be arson

A blue Mazda three hatchback was stolen from Monrad Street, on January 20.

It went up in fire two days later - at 8pm, near train tracks north of Longburn - setting grass and fences alight.

Police are asking for any sightings of the car, registration D H K one nine nine.
