    Cyclist Laurence Pithie has secured a maiden win on the World Tour with victory at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race at Geelong, now he wants to become a national champion on February 10 at Timaru


    The 21-year-old believes the terrain of South Canterbury will present a course he can conquer.



    Aaron Gate, George Bennett and Corbin Strong are other headline names on the start list.
