    The Police Minister's looking into a law change in the wake of a 200 vehicle burnout meet in Levin


    Six cars were impounded and Police were pelted with rocks and bottles at the Saturday night boy-racer event.

    But Mark Mitchell says he's asked for advice on changing Police powers to permanently seize vehicles.

    He says if boy-racers knew their cars could be taken and not given back, it would act as a deterrent.
