    Canterbury schools have dominated the prestigious 8s at the Maadi Cup rowing regatta on Lake Karapiro


    In the girl's 8's Canterbury crews filled the first four places.

    Incredibly, Rangi Ruru crews stormed to gold and silver, ahead of St Margaret's...with Christchurch Girls High in fourth place.

    In the boys eight St Bede's College took gold by just six hundredths of a second...edging out Hamilton Boys with Westlake Boys in third and Christ's College fourth.
