New Zealand are in contention for a medal at the sailing world championships

A second race win off the Netherlands coast has pushed Laser representative George Gautrey into third with three races to go.

He's the first of his compatriots to reach that stage in any of the 10 classes.

Gautrey's applying a simple strategy on the North Sea.



The Nacra 17 crew of Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson wrapped up their campaign in eighth.
