High hopes of gold rush in Central Otago - as an Australian mining company looks to list on New Zealand's Exchange

A discovery by Santana Minerals on the privately-owned Bendigo Station land is being dubbed one of New Zealand's most significant, with potential to produce 110-thousand ounces of gold annually.

Chief Executive Damian Spring told Markets with Madison 40 percent of shareholders are in New Zealand - so they're seriously considering an NZX listing.

Spring says they're looking into pros and cons.
