Dunedin City Council's set to spend almost 350-thousand dollars on its campaign against cuts to the city's new hospital

A report to councillors says an extra 200-thousand dollars is needed to keep the campaign running through to the end of the Christmas break.

Councillors will consider whether to approve the funding at a meeting on Monday.

Governance manager Clare Sullivan says if approved, the total expenditure will be 2-dollars-60 per ratepayer.
