    The Maritime Union is welcoming the conviction for former Ports of Auckland CEO, Tony Gibson - under Work Health and Safety law


    A court's ruled he's guilty under the legislation - for the death of stevedore Pala'amo Kalati in 2020.

    Union National Secretary, Carl Findlay says it should send a message to every boss in New Zealand.

    He says it's a bittersweet moment - with justice served, but for the ultimate price.
