    Two people have been killed in a crash in the New Plymouth District


    Police say they responded to the two-vehicle crash on main North Road in Onae-roa about 1:50pm.

    They say two people were found dead inside one of the vehicles and a third person in the other vehicle was in a moderate condition.

    Police have closed the road for a scene examination.

    NZTA says no detour is available.
