Health New Zealand says it's taking steps to review the issues raised about Nelson Hospital

Health New Zealand says it's taking steps to review the issues raised about Nelson Hospital

It's been labelled a 'healthcare crisis' and senior staff have spoken out with concerns about the levels of care.

Deputy Chief Executive Martin Keogh says an independent support team will provide reports and recommendations on the issues within the next month.

He says four expert groups will look into quality and clinical review, the hospital's workforce, performance and facilities.
