Police are appealing for information after a dog walker was sexually assaulted, in Waikato's Tokoroa yesterday night

The assault happened on Dumfries Road 11:20pm.

They want to hear from a man who was seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, on a bike, around the time of the incident.

They have no reason to believe he was involved but say he may have valuable information.
