The drought is finally over for Canterbury netball

The drought is finally over for Canterbury netball

The Mainland Tactix have won the franchise's first domestic title with a storming 58-46 win over the Mystics in the ANZ Premiership final in Auckland.

It's the region's first championship since the inception of the domestic competition in 1998.

The triumph has come in coach Donna Wilkins' first season with the Tactix.

Captain Erikana Pedersen Wilkins has brought a ruthless mindset into the team.
