    A man on the run - with more than 20 warrants for his arrests - has been caught in Auckland

    Auckland Airport Police spotted a vehicle of interested before eight this morning - which sped away.

    It overtook traffic, ran red lights and drove on the footpath before being spiked in the North Shore's Totara Vale.

    A 38-year-old man will appear in North Shore District Court tomorrow.

    He faces charges including dangerous driving, assault with a blunt instrument and possessing methamphetamine.
