    A woman has appeared in court in Dunedin, charged with manslaughter over the death of a six year old in Wellington, in 2023


    The ODT reports court documents allege the woman - who has interim name suppression - neglected her legal duty to provide the necessaries of life, leading to death.

    The alleged incident happened in August 2023, in the capital.

    The woman's been remanded on bail to live at a Dunedin address, until facing the High Court at Wellington next month.
