    The Kiwi player's fired a third round of one-under par 71 to move into a tie for eighth at the famous Carnoustie - seven shots behind leader KJ Choi of South Korea.

    Michael Campbell's moved into a tie for 25th after a one-over par day took him to five-over overall.

    Michael Long's 60th following a three-over round.
