The 89th Masters golf tournament is alive in a three-way tie at Augusta

The 89th Masters golf tournament is alive in a three-way tie at Augusta

Here's a summary of how the drama of the last hour has unfolded.

Rory McIlroy double-bogeyed the par-5 13th to drop to 11-under par overall, as you heard when his shot barrelled towards the creek on Sky Sport.

He's since dropped another stroke with the ball hanging on the hole precipice at 14.

Justin Rose then birdied the par-3 16th.

That left him in the lead until he bogeyed at 17th.

Ludvig Aberg has also loomed at 10-under par through 16.

McIlroy's final group playing partner Bryson DeChambeau has also detonated - he's seven-under par through 14.

And watch out... defending champion and world number one Scottie Scheffler is also on the cusp at eight-under through 16, having gained three strokes today.
