Bradlee Ashby's withdrawal from the Tokyo Games means New Zealand's swim team will be all maiden Olympians

Bradlee Ashby's withdrawal from the Tokyo Games means New Zealand's swim team will be all maiden Olympians

Five female and two male athletes will be formally nominated to the NZOC for selection in the pool.

But Swimming NZ's high performance lead Gary Francis says Ashby - a 2016 medley semifinalist - has pulled out after injuries and sickness.

1500-freestyler Hayley MacIntosh clocked a qualification time in a last chance meet over the weekend.
