    Novak Djokovic has advanced to the last eight at the Brisbane International tennis quarter-finals where he will meet 2.11 metre Reilly Opelka


    The world number seven is seeking a 25th major title at the Australian Open this month but without the controversy that dogged him during the Covid pandemic.

    In Auckland, Hailey Baptiste has secured the last quarter-final spot at the ASB Classic, beating Jodie Burrage in a three-set thriller.

    She won the third set tie-break 8-6 and now faces Naomi Osaka.

    In other matches, Alycia Parks duels with Katie Volynets , Bernarda Pera plays Robin Montgomery and top seed Madison Keys meets Clara Tauson .
