A man's due to appear in the Auckland District Court today after allegedly stealing two million dollars worth of property from more than 50 Auckland homes

Police allege the crime spree span more than two years - across the North Shore, and in the Remuera and Sunnyhills areas.
Officers arrested a 51-year-old man on Friday night after believing he was on his way to commit a burglary.
Police say a search of his vehicle found a number of tools alleged to assist him with his offending.
