Business as usual for the Breakers in their first taste of the NBL's new in-season tournament tonight against the Illawarra Hawks in Auckland

Business as usual for the Breakers in their first taste of the NBL's new in-season tournament tonight against the Illawarra Hawks in Auckland

The Ignite Cup - which takes place each Wednesday - will see all teams play four extra games in their bid for a 300-thousand dollar prize, with results still contributing to the regular NBL standings.

Teams will pick up three points for a victory, while earning one point for each quarter they win.

However, Breakers coach Petteri Koponen insists there's no need for his team's mentality to change with the mini-tournament.

    Tip off is at 7.30pm.
