A man's due in court, accused of approaching and grabbing several parents and children outside a Christchurch kindergarten

A man's due in court, accused of approaching and grabbing several parents and children outside a Christchurch kindergarten

Police were called to the Kidsfirst Phillipstown, just before 9 o'clock yesterday morning.

A 32-year-old's been charged with disorderly behaviour, assaulting a child, assaulting a female, and resisting Police.

Kidsfirst CEO Sherryll Wilson says she's grateful to the Police for their quick and positive response.

She says the incident serves as a reminder to always keep a very close eye on children.
