Coach Scott Robertson is confident he's nailing a number of objectives in naming the first All Blacks side of the year

Coach Scott Robertson is confident he's nailing a number of objectives in naming the first All Blacks side of the year

The match-day 23 to confront France in Dunedin on Saturday features debuts in their adopted home city for lock Fabian Holland and number eight Christian Lio-Willie, while fellow newbies - prop Ollie Norris and flanker Du'Plessis Kirifi - have been named on the bench.

There's also positional switches for Reiko Ioane, Tupou Vaa'i and Ardie Savea.

Robertson says the selection panel has different views, but he's pleased with the balance they've struck between competing now...and building for the future.
