An 18 month jail sentence for a Lower Hutt woman who assaulted a journalist outside court

An 18 month jail sentence for a Lower Hutt woman who assaulted a journalist outside court

Rosie Morunga was found guilty of attacking a NZ Herald journalist in November last year.

Newstalk ZB's Max Towle says Morunga was being questioned by the journalist outside the Hutt District Court when the assault took place.

He says the reporter was spat on, punched, had her hair pulled, and also had her phone and credit cards stolen, which were then used to buy alcohol.
