Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau seen holding hands leaving Paris club

The pair's public appearance on the pop singer's 41st birthday has added fuel to growing speculation the two are in a relationship.

Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau have made a public appearance in Paris on the pop singer's birthday, adding to growing speculation the two are a couple.

According to footage published by American celebrity outlet TMZ, Perry and Trudeau were seen leaving Le Crazy Horse Cabaret Club on Saturday night holding hands — apparently confirming they are in a relationship.

The appearance coincided with Perry's 41st birthday.

The American singer, known for hits such as Hot n Cold and I Kissed a Girl, was seen accepting roses from a bystander as she was led out to a waiting car by Trudeau.

The pair have been spotted together on multiple occasions in recent months, including out to lunch and aboard a yacht.

Both have recently separated from their former partners, with Perry divorcing actor Orlando Bloom in July.

Trudeau stepped down as Canadian prime minister in January amid low approval ratings and a public stoush with US President Donald Trump.

He separated from his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau in August 2023.

Perry, meanwhile, has continued to release music and has recently been touring.

In April — the same month Trudeau was officially replaced as prime minister — Perry was the subject of global headlines after joining a celebrity-laden trip aboard Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin rocket into Earth's upper atmosphere.

She was pictured floating in zero-gravity holding a flower and then kissed the ground after landing back in the desert.

Neither Perry nor Trudeau has publicly commented on their relationship to date.
