    State Highway One is blocked south of Levin as emergency services respond to a house fire


    Fire and Emergency New Zealand says it was alerted to the blaze in Ohau at about 6:10pm where the fire was in two bedrooms.

    A spokesperson say 10 firetrucks are responding and operations are winding down.

    They say all people are accounted for and the fire investigator has been alerted.
