A large-scale search continues for a 20-year-old tramper missing near Lake Ohau - in the Mackenzie Basin, with pleas for any sightings

Connor Purvis failed to return from a tramp at Mount Huxley last week.

Police Search and Rescue teams have been searching alongside Land SAR, DOC alpine and aerial search crews.

Coordinator Sergeant Matt Sheat says teams have found nothing at huts and campsites.

He says it's a large-scale search over a large area, so even the smallest piece of information from the public could make the difference in finding him.
