    A person's died following a housefire in Hastings


    Emergency services were called to Tamatea Street in Mahora before 3pm today.

    Police say the man is yet to be identified, and the cause is being investigated.

    A cordon's in place on Tamatea Street, between Duke Street and Tamatea Place.
