    Police are calling for information after a crash in Palmerston North left one person dead last night


    The multiple-vehicle accident took place on Napier Road - State Highway 3 - between Palmerston North and Ashurt between 9:30 and 9:50.

    Any witnesses, or anyone who saw a silver Subaru or a green Utility vehicle in the area around the time of the crash, is encouraged to get in touch.

    Police also ask for any dashcam footage that may have recorded the incident.

    Any information can be provided to Police via 105.
