Central Otago's Cardona Hotel is on the market for the first time in more than a decade

Central Otago's Cardona Hotel is on the market for the first time in more than a decade

The 162-year old building is a major tourist attraction, and sits right between Queenstown and Wanaka.

The establishment is for sale through private negotiation.

Co-owner Cade Thornton says after 13-years of running the business, it's time to move on.

He says although his experience was hugely rewarding, he's keen to spend more time with his family, and travel.
