A quick turnaround in fortunes for Kiwi athlete Hamish Kerr

A quick turnaround in fortunes for Kiwi athlete Hamish Kerr

The high jumper has overcome his world championship disappointment to set a new personal best and national outdoor record.

Kerr has leapt 2.33 metres to finish second at the Diamond League meet in Zurich.

Another New Zealand driver is set to join the Aussie Supercars championship next year.

Ryan Wood has signed a multi-year deal with Walkinshaw Andretti United.

The 19-year-old will replace Nick Percat in the Ford Mustang vehicle after spending time in Super2 this year.

And it's coming down to the last regular-season game for NRL playoffs hopes for two Sydney teams tonight... as the Rabbitohs host the Roosters.
