The Christchurch City Council's one step closer to buying, or leasing, the earthquake-damaged Dux de Lux building in the Arts Centre

The Christchurch City Council's one step closer to buying, or leasing, the earthquake-damaged Dux de Lux building in the Arts Centre

The council's agreed to expect redevelopment options within the next six weeks.

They should include options to lease or buy the Hereford Street building.

Mayor Phil Mauger says this could be the catalyst which gets action underway.

He says everyone wants to get fixed, restored or repaired - one way or another.
