Possible corporate tax cuts could be on the way in this year's Budget

Possible corporate tax cuts could be on the way in this year's Budget

The Finance Minster and Prime Minister both say they're open to tax system changes, to incentivise economic growth.

Nicola Willis says New Zealand's corporate tax rate is reasonably high compared to other countries.

Christopher Luxon says corporate tax changes are a possibility, and any announcement would come in the May budget.

He says they're open to any changes that encourage growth, but wouldn't be pushed on what is being considered.
