Nicola Willis is spending 14-billion over the next four years so all workers earning more than $14,000 a year will receive between 4 and 40 dollars extra a fortnight.
She says the tax relief is focused on those who have been hit hardest by the cost-of-living.
Although she would've liked to go further ... she says doing so would not fiscally responsible.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Chris Luxon expects he'll spend his tax cut on his family.
