Hopes farmers are more valued following the Government's changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme

Legislation's being introduced this month to stop including agriculture in the ETS.
He Waka Eke Noa has also been disestablished-- and will be replaced with a new group tasked with tackling methane emissions from farming.
Dairy NZ chief executive Campbell Parker says a huge amount of effort went into He Waka Eke Noa.
He says the industry wants to have an input into the issues -- so they look forward to the new group and working actively for farmers.
