Wayward Penrith player Taylan May has finally been shown the door at the Panthers, following a series of off-field indiscretions

Wayward Penrith player Taylan May has finally been shown the door at the Panthers, following a series of off-field indiscretions

The 22-year-old centre was served with two breach notices - but they've now reached a confidential settlement, with a payout meaning he can leave the club with immediate effect.

He's now scrapped plans to sue Penrith for attempting to terminate his contract... May is also suspended by the NRL after being charged with domestic violence offences - for which he's pleaded not guilty.

Newstalk ZB understands he's already received interest from clubs locally and abroad, including in rugby union.
